Installation date: March 2023

The solar project installed in the two Technical Training Centers in the city of Matola and the city of Maputo, aimed to benefit trainers, trainees as well as all personnel in general with access to electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Training Centers were struggling with problems of frequent EDM power cuts that affected the school calendar, constant power fluctuations that caused extensive damage to equipment and a high cost of energy bills.

The installation of solar systems aimed to minimize these constraints, providing the Centers with constant, clean energy, without fluctuations, thus ensuring the smooth functioning of existing laboratories and without interruptions to classes.

The project also offered trainees the opportunity to acquire knowledge about photovoltaic energy, motivating and empowering them to create their own solar systems, contributing to the technical and educational training of young people.

The installed solar systems of 10.92 kWp, with 15 kWh and 30 kWh of storage capacity installed by Logos Indústrias guarantee the energy needs for the full operation of the Centers.
