This solar system installation project, carried out at the Banhine School, aimed to benefit 900 children, teachers and non-teaching staff with access to electricity, light and internet.
Since its construction in 1997, the Banhine School has operated without access to electricity, which means without electricity, cooling, running water or internet.
The school and its educational community thus benefited from a significant improvement in educational opportunities, extension of the solar route from the 7th class to the 9th class, expansion of teaching capacity from 500 to 900 children, night teaching and also the promotion of individual interests and talents through online learning platforms.
The installed 9.1 kWp solar system, with 30 kWh of storage capacity installed by Logos Indústrias guarantees the energy needs for the full functioning of the School.
