This solar system installation project, carried out at Casa do Gaiato, was developed in coordination with Azimut 360 and aimed to benefit local young people from the orphanage and reduce the electricity bill for the Casa's residential and professional facilities (Workshops) as well as guarantee sustainability of the system through theoretical and practical training in photovoltaic systems for some of the young people who live in the complex.
Casa do Gaiato develops many activities for the benefit of the community, such as social services that include comprehensive support for the lives of orphaned children, providing them with food, health care, education, support for basic and secondary education and professional assistance with workshops carpentry and mechanics. The installation of the 42.8 kWp solar system and 40 kWh of storage capacity installed by Logos Indústrias guarantees the supply of affordable, reliable, sustainable and above all self-sufficient electricity.
